The Father’s House/Casa del Padre
Orphanage
It is with great pleasure that I inform all my supporters, who have invested in this God given vision, – –The Father’s House Orphanage has finally opened its doors. This orphanage has started with five beautiful girls. Thank you for believing, (with me) in what God envisioned nine years ago near a small town called Banos de Agua Santa (Pools of Sacred Water). Our first two girls arrived Mid October.
Meet Damaris Abigail a 5-month-old, and Erika Marina a 7-year-old. These two girls arrived on the second week of October. Their mother was severely impacted by the COVID 19 virus and has founded it almost impossible to care for these girls. Their father cannot find work. He and his family survive on whatever he’s able to hunt or fish in the Ecuadorian Amazon Jungle near the town of Arajuno.
A month ago, the mother gave Damaris away to a neighbor, but eventually the neighbor brought her back to the mother because she couldn’t care for her either. She was returned with diarrhea and a swollen head. The mother then reached out to us for assistance and by the grace of God we were able to embrace Damaris and give her the hope every child needs. Damaris was immediately taken to a pediatrician and is now stable. Her diarrhea is gone, she’s smiling and appears much happier.
Erica Marina the second child has no known health issues. However, she has hardly attended school in her seven years and barely recognizes the alphabet.
On November 5 the three other girls arrived. There are some educational and health issues to be resolve. Please continue to pray for Liza (4), Beatriz (5), Trinidad (9), and Erika and Damaris.
